3 Under-the-Radar MLB FanDuel Plays for 6/13/18

Rhys Hoskins hasn't quite lived up to the massive expectations placed upon him entering the season, but he's still posted a sneaky .377 expected weighted on-base average (xwOBA), and when you put up a ridiculous .359 ISO -- as Hoskins did last year -- it's not like that power evaporates overnight. He still has a hefty 50.8% fly-ball rate, and his average exit velocity isn't far off from last year, so the power should come around.

Now is a good time to test the waters while Hoskins' price is lower than it's been for much of the season. He'll have the platoon advantage against Tyler Anderson, who has managed a rather ordinary 4.51 SIERA while watching his ground-ball rate plummet to 34.5% this year. Add in that Citizens Bank Park is a great spot for dingers, and we have a pretty good template for a big fantasy night for Hoskins.

With more enticing spots for teams like the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals, the Philadelphia Phillies are unlikely to garner too much attention, so perhaps Hoskins flies under the radar despite the discount.
