Tyler Chatwood, SP, Chicago Cubs

FanDuel Price: $5,900

One of the 2018 season's biggest features has been the prevalence of the Three True Outcomes. It feels like so many plate appearances end in either a strikeout, walk, or home run. Still though, the league walk rate is just 8.7%.

That's what makes Tyler Chatwood's walk rate of 20.3% so awful, as he is nearly walking batters three times as often as league average. And with a strikeout rate below his walk rate (19.8%), it is really tough for him to be effective, even possessing a fly-ball rate below 30%.

Even though they have battled injuries, the New York Mets are a terrific offense against right-handed pitching. They rank eighth in wRC+, and this isn't because of a strong April pre-injuries. Zeroing in just on the month of May, the Mets were actually better against right-handed pitching, as they were seventh in wRC+ and cut their strikeout rate against right-handed pitching to 18.7%, the best mark in baseball. Combined with a top-10 hard-hit rate (38.1%) against right-handed pitching this month, the Mets continue to present an offensive force.

Facing a tough Mets team, Chatwood isn't worth rostering, even at such a cheap price.
