Edwin Encarnacion, 1B, Cleveland Indians

Price: $3,700

Detroit's Francisco Liriano is coming off a 2017 campaign that saw him post a career-worst 5.09 SIERA. He has shown no sign of improvement through seven starts in 2018, with an even worse 5.15 SIERA.

Since the start of last season, he has been especially generous to right-handed hitters, allowing a .363 wOBA while struggling to a 5.60 xFIP. That makes this a terrific spot for Edwin Encarnacion.

Encarnacion had a slow start to the season, but he has picked things up with a .387 wOBA, .239 isolated slugging and 12 RBIs over 11 games in May. He has only 53 plate appearances against southpaws this year, but if we expand our view back to 2017 (increasing the sample to 274), he has shown plenty of power with a 37.7% hard-hit and 39.6% fly-ball rate.

Combining that pop with Liriano's struggles and Cleveland's strong 5.05 implied total gives Encarnacion a great ceiling on Tuesday.
