Adrian Gonzalez, 1B, New York Mets

It's easy to write off Adrian Gonzalez after his forgettable 2017 season, but he's owned a 42.9% hard-hit rate with a 15.4% strikeout rate and 12.8% walk rate, so maybe all is not lost yet.

The power he once had is likely never fully coming back, but with the New York Mets facing a weak pitcher in Jeremy Hellickson, he could prove useful as a cheap addition to a stack. As a reminder, Hellickson only mustered a 5.37 SIERA and 13.8% strikeout rate in 2017. Gonzalez will have the platoon advantage, and has hit fifth in his last two starts.
