Chris Young, OF, Los Angeles Angels

FanDuel Price: $2,000

The Los Angeles Angels have the second-highest implied team total on the board (5.11), behind only the Colorado Rockies game. They will undoubtedly be a popular stack against left-hander Martin Perez. Against righties, Perez has a career 12.1% strikeout rate and 8.1% walk rate, and, in 2017, he allowed a .362 wOBA to them.

Chris Young has been used sparingly this season, but he might crack the Angels lineup with a lefty on the mound, and he's a cheap way to differentiate your Angels stack. Young was frankly pretty bad against lefties last season, and will bat low in the lineup, so many will likely pass on him despite his minimum pricing. But much of his woes against southpaws can be blamed on an unlucky .232 batting average on balls in play (BABIP), because historically he's mashed them to a career .359 wOBA and .204 isolated power (ISO).

At age 34, it's possible Young simply isn't that good anymore, but it's worth taking a chance to see if he can perform at his previous levels in one of the best matchups on the board.
