FanDuel has really priced up the top bats this evening, so between paying up for ace pitching and guys like Bryce Harper, Nolan Arenado, or Mike Trout, there won't be a lot of money to go around.

Therefore, Rhys Hoskins could get overlooked in the same price range as the masses opt to fit in the bigger names. Hoskins has only one dinger so far this year, so he isn't on the Harper fast track just yet, but he's still produced an impressive .546 wOBA, .320 isolated power (ISO), and 20.6% walk rate to begin 2018. Obviously, we'll see these figures tail off as the sample size grows, but it's a promising sign that last year's numbers weren't a fluke. He has only a 26.3% hard-hit rate so far, but after posting a 46.0% rate in 2017, we ought to see that improve over the long haul.

Hoskins gets to face Cody Reed, who owns a career 6.75 ERA, 4.74 SIERA and 12.3% walk rate over 65 1/3 innings. Between the good matchup, lilely lower ownership and promising start, Hoskins makes for a great play in tournaments tonight.
