Hernan Perez draws a much tougher matchup than Walker, taking on Chicago Cubs lefty Jon Lester. Lester did show some signs of decline in 2017, with a 4.07 SIERA that marked his worst since 2008, but that's still far from a bad mark. He did have some vulnerability against right-handed hitters, though, allowing a .344 wOBA and 4.48 xFIP.

Perez struggled from the dish overall last season, posting an ugly .298 wOBA, but he looked competent against southpaws. He managed a 32.6% hard-hit rate against left-handed pitching, which he turned into a .334 wOBA.

He's priced all the way down at minimum salary here, so Perez isn't a bad roll of the dice tonight.
