Neil Walker, 2B, New York Yankees

Price: $2,900

The New York Yankees 5.25-run implied total is more than half a run higher than anyone else's on the main slate as they draw a terrific matchup with Andrew Cashner and the Baltimore Orioles.

Cashner struggled to the tune of a 5.52 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) with a 12.2% strikeout rate and 9.1% walk rate last year, giving him back-to-back seasons with a SIERA north of 4.70. He had an especially egregious 5.96 xFIP against left-handed hitters.

The switch-hitting Neil Walker has done his best work against right-handed pitching over his career. That was especially true in 2017, when he turned a 34.3% hard-hit rate in the split into a .366 wOBA and .199 isolated slugging (ISO). Numbers like that are more than enough to leave Walker offering strong upside, and he's a cheap way to get exposure to the Yankees.
