His chase to track down Mr. Bonds will likely fall short, but Giancarlo Stanton could add to his homer total tonight against Sean Newcomb. This season against lefties, Stanton has mashed to the tune of a 1.203 OPS and 41.9% hard-hit rate. If you can stomach the salary, he's likely to be a popular play.
With considerably far less pop in his bat and a .329 wOBA this season, Ender Inciarte could go ignored in the outfield.
Why You Should Use Him:
Hitting tonight at home, Inciarte and the Atlanta Braves could enjoy a big evening facing Miami Marlins starter Dan Straily.
Straily has been solid with a 4.39 SIERA over 156 2/3 innings pitched in 2017, but a look at his batted-ball profile reveals a 33.3% hard-hit rate and 47.5% fly-ball rate, resulting in 1.44 home runs allowed per nine innings pitched.
