Michael Wacha, SP, St. Louis Cardinals

FanDuel Price: $6,900

Michael Wacha may be working with one of the lower implied team totals (3.78) against the San Francisco Giants in AT&T Park, but even at his super cheap price, he doesn't have enough upside to merit your DFS attention.

Part the reason for the low salary has been a horrendous three-game stretch in which Wacha has allowed a 10.22 ERA, while striking out just 13.9% of batters. A 4.63 xFIP over this span suggests he may have had some poor luck, but that's hardly a reassuring mark either.

However, even with a return to form, his peripherals are only slightly above league average, including a 4.12 SIERA and 22.5% strikeout rate. The Giants are hardly an imposing offense, but they do suppress strikeouts, so Wacha is unlikely to post an exciting final line.

Without a game in Coors, or any extraordinarily high implied team totals, there's no need to drop this low in pitching salary.
