Anthony Rizzo may be a southpaw, but he handles lefties just fine, as shown by his .398 wOBA against them this season. Still, even as a contrarian play, it's hard to justify paying up for him against Sean Newcomb.

For one thing, Newcomb has shown some strong stuff against lefties so far, posting a 25.7% strikeout rate and 3.64 xFIP over 22 2/3 innings. But perhaps more importantly, we're expecting 16 mile per hour winds blowing in at Wrigley Field tonight, which severely limits the upside of Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves bats this evening.

Unless the forecast significantly changes, it's better to avoid bats in this one outside of potential value plays like Ian Happ.
