Mike Napoli, 1B, Texas Rangers

Due to Hurricane Harvey, the Texas Rangers' game against the Houston Astros is being played in Tropicana Field, a major park downgrade for the Rangers.

Furthermore, their matchup with Mike Fiers (4.35 SIERA) is rather mediocre on a full slate, and in particular, he has a pesky 24.5% strikeout rate against righties. That's bad news for Mike Napoli, who has plenty of pop, but notoriously struggles with strikeouts. Although Fiers has allowed his share of dingers, this isn't an ideal situation for Napoli.

Particularly with Joey Votto in such a strong spot against Chris Flexen, it might be better to spend up at first base.
