Yan Gomes, C, Cleveland Indians

FanDuel Price: $2,200

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

There's only one catcher priced above $3,000 on tonight's main slate, and that makes Yadier Molina a chalky option, and for good reason -- over his last five games, he delivered 8 hits, including 4 of the extra-base variety.

Locked up with Chris Sale, who's struck out 36.6% of batters this season, Yan Gomes of the Cleveland Indians will probably be a low-owned play at catcher.

Why You Should Use Him:

The Red Sox starter is obviously a beast, but there are some small flaws we can look to exploit.

In the month of August, Sale has had a few problems with the long ball. He's allowed 1.33 homers per nine innings pitched this month, and all of them have been to right-handed batters.

Gomes, meanwhile, is a lefty-killer. For the season, Gomes has posted a 115 wRC+ against southpaws, including a .235 ISO, a 40.3% hard-hit rate, and a 41.0% fly-ball rate.

Check out Gomes as an interesting pivot at a tough-to-fill roster spot.
