Cody Bellinger, 1B, Los Angeles Dodgers

Cody Bellinger might as well be a DFS cash register this season. Just look at these numbers -- on the year, he has a .344 isolated power (ISO), .396 wOBA, and 45.8% hard-hit rate. Cha-ching!

But tonight he's facing the aforementioned Carlos Rodon, and gets the dreaded lefty-lefty matchup. Bellinger has certainly held his own against southpaws, putting up a 42.4% hard-hit rate, so against a lesser opponent you might still go here. Not only has Rodon been in good form, but across his career he has a 3.30 xFIP and 26.2% strikeout rate against same-side bats.

Considering you can get other first basemen like Joey Gallo, Anthony Rizzo, Freddie Freeman, or Mark Reynolds in far better matchups, unless you're trying to be contrarian, this a rare spot to pass on Bellinger.
