Eduardo Nunez, 3B, San Francisco Giants

Value could be hard to come by on this slate, especially at third base, where most of the best options are in the higher price tier. By virtue of his high spot in the order, in theory this puts Eduardo Nunez on the radar should he return to the lineup tonight.

However, despite being woeful against lefties, opposing pitcher Jhoulys Chacin is quite stingy against right-handed bats. Since 2015, Chacin has a 24.4% strikeout rate and 26.4% hard-hit rate against them.

Although Nunez has a stellar 9.3% strikeout rate, he doesn't have much hitting upside considering a .314 wOBA and 24.2% hard-hit rate. He has added value from his speed (17 stolen bases), but seeing as he's coming off a hamstring injury, we're less likely to see him tap into that.

There's just not a lot to get excited about in this spot, and you're better off paying up at third base, or taking a shot at a dinger from the similarly priced Todd Frazier.
