Gregory Polanco, OF, Pittsburgh Pirates

FanDuel Price: $2,900

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Facing a pitcher that's never thrown a pitch above Double-A, the Washington Nationals are sure to be a trendy play, and even though Bryce Harper will be a top-flight expensive option, Brian Goodwin could be a salary-saver.

Struggling a bit in 2017, Gregory Polanco and his .310 wOBA will be an under-the-radar option.

Why You Should Use Him:

The Pittsburgh Pirates and their low implied team total of only 4.36 runs seem to be a really smart value play, and it's mainly due to the struggles of St. Louis Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright.

Whether we're looking at what he's done this month or since the start of the season, Wainwright has just been awful. He's posted a 4.65 SIERA with just a 7.7% swinging-strike rate this year, both of which are on track to be career worsts. In particular, June also hasn't been kind to the right-hander, as he's produced a 6.75 FIP in 16.1 innings.

Lefties have had their way with Wainwright, as they've logged a .348 wOBA and .437 slugging percentage against him, while drawing walks 10.5% of the time.

Polanco has had some of his own struggles in 2017 to deal with, but he's performed far better against right-handed pitching. His wOBA against lefties is down at a disappointing .235, but it jumps up nearly 100 points against righties (.330), to go along with a .163 ISO.
