Lefty Steven Matz will be taking the mound for the New York Mets tonight. He's coming off a strong 2016 season, but he has really struggled since his elbow surgery, posting a 6.75 ERA in his three Triple-A rehab starts and a 5.07 SIERA through his first two major-league games of the year.

Franklin Gutierrez has an unexciting .313 wOBA through 56 plate appearances this season, but over the past three seasons, he has posted a .380 wOBA against lefties with a 47.8% hard-hit rate. With the way Matz has been throwing recently, Gutierrez offers a ton of upside here if he's in the lineup.
