Matt Adams, 1B, Atlanta Braves

It's safe to say that Matt Adams has enjoyed his time as a member of the Atlanta Braves. He's slugged 10 home runs through 126 plate appearances with the team, leading to a robust .339 ISO and .397 wOBA. The Braves also have a respectable 4.42 implied team total against Jeff Samardzija tonight.

However, we might want to pump the breaks against Samardzija, who is one of the tougher hurlers on the board despite a poor ERA. Adams often struggles with strikeouts (23.0% career rate), which Samardzija is dealing plenty of in 2017.

It also doesn't help that Adams' salary is starting to creep up there, even though he still bats just fifth in the order. There are much safer options at first base.
