Joey Gallo, 1B, Texas Rangers

Despite his immense power (17 homers), Joey Gallo continues to be a tough sell at his cost. After a couple starts out of the fifth spot last week, he quickly returned to batting seventh or eighth, which is an extremely poor value for a bat putting you back $3,700.

The Texas Rangers get a decent matchup against Joe Musgrove, but it's hardly the strongest on the board at just a 4.16 implied team total.

Gallo is also striking out a woeful 37.4% of the time, the third-worst among qualified starters. Even in GPPs, where riskier plays are part of the deal, you're probably better off waiting for a price drop or move up the lineup before taking the plunge again.
