Scooter Gennett's production has obviously been absurd recently -- a four-homer game will do that -- but he's actually been making great contact all season. His 37.9% hard-hit rate and 12.6% soft-hit rate are both on pace to be career bests, and that hard-hit rate jumps to 39.3% with a .379 wOBA if we look at his splits against right-handed pitching.

He brings that into a great matchup against San Diego Padres' righty Luis Perdomo, who, even while showing some improvement, has a 4.90 xFIP against left-handed sticks through 10 games in 2017.
