There's no denying that Joey Gallo, despite all his flaws, is a fun guy to use because of his immense power. With 17 bombs and a .316 isolated power (ISO), he's the perfect high-risk, high-reward tournament play.

But that risk is a little easier to stomach when the price is low, and his recent spike in salary makes things dicey given he doesn't hit any higher than fifth, and oftentimes much lower.

With Tanner Roark on the mound, that also reduces the likelihood of getting the long ball. Roark has done a good job limiting hard contact (26.3%), and has only given up seven round-trippers this season.

There's always a chance Gallo will knock one out, but there are safer and more cost-effective ways to find upside tonight.
