Gerrit Cole may have name value, but he has shown precious little upside this year.

In fact, he hasn't shown much of a floor either, with scores of 5, 12, and 18 his past three starts. In that span he has a 14.7% strikeout rate and whopping 44.1% hard-hit rate.

But even with a return to better form, as a whole, he has just a 4.03 SIERA and 20.3% strikeout rate. With a mediocre 3.94 implied team total for the visiting Miami Marlins, there's simply not a whole lot to hang your hat on here.
