Dixon Machado, 2B, Detroit Tigers

FanDuel Price: $2,200

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Batting in the heart of a red-hot New York Yankees lineup, Starlin Castro is likely to be a highly sought after choice. The Yanks face Francisco Liriano (who's coming off of a sore shoulder), and get to attack at the Rogers Centre, which ranks eighth in home run factor over the last three seasons.

Forced into action due to the injury to Ian Kinsler, Dixon Machado of the Detroit Tigers is a relatively unknown commodity, with only 91 plate appearances at the major league level prior to this season.

Why You Should Use Him:

Facing left-handed pitching, the Tigers have slotted Machado into the leadoff spot of a powerful lineup. Machado's ability to get on base is a key to his success -- in 2016 at the Triple-A level, he posted a .349 OBP in 569 plate appearances.

Getting on tonight will be key, as Vegas thinks this could be a long night for Texas Rangers starter Derek Holland. The Tigers have a robust implied team total of 5.09 runs.

And while Holland has been death to same-sided bats (.198 wOBA and 17.9% hard-hit rate), right-handed hitters have shown tremendous success (.328 wOBA and 41.1% hard-hit rate).

As part of an explosive offense, Machado makes for a nice salary-saving play.
