Luis Valbuena, 3B, Los Angeles Angels

FanDuel Price: $2,200

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The absurd consistency of Nolan Arenado starts to make you wonder if the dude is a robot -- after back-to-back 130-plus RBI seasons, he's on pace for another year of 100-plus ribbies with 34 already to his name. At home against a left-handed pitcher (a situation where he's produced a 1.091 OPS for his career), Arenado will be a popular, but expensive, option.

Unfortunately for Luis Valbuena, the injury bug has struck a star on his own team, as Mike Trout will be out six-to-eight weeks with a torn ligament in his thumb that needs to get surgically repaired. Without Trout, the Angels' fantasy allure goes way down, which includes Valbuena and his .173 batting average.

Why You Should Use Him:

The matchup for Valbuena and friends this evening is a pretty tasty one, as the timeless Bartolo Colon takes the bump for the Atlanta Braves.

It's been a rough year for Colon so far, and lefties are causing him the most trouble -- in 26 2/3 innings pitched against them, he's posted a 5.14 xFIP while allowing a 37.1% hard-hit rate and 46.0% fly-ball rate.

Valbuena has recently slotted nicely into the cleanup spot in the Los Angeles Angels batting order, and while a small sample size, he's posted 9.5-plus FanDuel points in three of his last four games.
