Has the regression monster finally come for Ryan Zimmerman? (For some reason, I picture the smoke monster from "Lost.")

Following a super-human April performance, Zimmerman is proving that he is, in fact, human. In the last 14 days he has a .285 wOBA, .073 isolated power (ISO), and 29.4% hard-hit rate with zero dingers. We all knew the good times couldn't last forever, right?

He's also facing the underrated Luis Perdomo, who may have a 5.79 ERA but has an excellent 3.03 SIERA. He typically does his best Dallas Keuchel impersonation by getting ground balls at a 69% clip. Actually, that's better than Keuchel this year.

Zimmerman will likely turn things around quickly and remain a force as long as he can stay healthy. However, given his recent play and a deceptively difficult matchup, you can avoid him tonight.
