Lance McCullers doesn't offer the safety Kershaw does, but the Houston Astros are the second-biggest favorites on Monday (-212 money line) as they host a Texas Rangers team with a pretty weak 3.52 implied total.

While his 4.34 ERA doesn't look great, McCullers owns a 2.93 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) through five starts, bringing his career mark to 3.51. He's also sporting a 29.0% strikeout rate (after posting a 30.1% in 2016), which has come with a solid 12.0% swinging-strike rate.

The Rangers have struck out at a top-10 rate against right-handed pitching to start 2017, so this matchup gives McCullers a ton of upside.
