Travelling to the hitter-friendly Globe Life Park, the Los Angeles Angels' 4.67 implied total is the fourth-highest among the 30 teams in action on Friday as they take on Texas Rangers righty Nick Martinez.

Martinez has yet to have a major league season that wasn't terrible. He posted a 5.22 SIERA in 2014, a 4.92 mark in 2015 and a 5.84 mark in 2016. He owns a career 12.6% strikeout rate and 8.8% walk rate and has also allowed a 30.2% hard-hit rate to go with a 39.9% fly-ball rate -- not exactly an ideal batted-ball profile for a guy pitching at Globe Life.

C.J. Cron's production hasn't been anything to write home about, but he is sporting a pretty decent 32.6% hard-hit rate. For this close to minimum salary in a great matchup, he offers some serious value.
