Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Rookie catcher Austin Hedges is currently hotter than the face of the sun. After posting an Isolated Power (ISO) of .272 last year in Triple-A, he's bopped 6 homers over his first 69 plate appearances this year.

Meanwhile, Chris Herrmann has struggled to get on track. Sporting only a .231 wOBA and 36 wRC+ over his first 31 plate appearances, he's still fresh off a .358 wOBA, 117 wRC+ and a .209 ISO from last season.

Why You Should Use Him:

As mentioned earlier, Herrmann is involved in a game with the highest over-under of the day, which is currently at 10.5 runs. And the Diamondbacks, currently favorites, are sporting a strong implied team total of 5.87 runs.

Soft-tossing Jered Weaver takes the pill for the Padres, who's been surprisingly good so far this year. He's yielded a quality start in each of his last three turns, but his 4.37 SIERA shows that he's fortunate to currently have a 3.91 ERA.

Left-handed hitters have posted a .357 wOBA against Weaver so far this year, and it seems as if he's been most effective at home. He's allowed a 16.7% hard-hit rate at Petco, but that balloons to 34.6% when he pitches on the road.

Chase Field -- the site of tonight's game -- ranks third in park factor and seventh in home run factor over the last three seasons. The wheels could come off the Weaver bus today, and Herrmann will provide cheap exposure to the matchup.
