Taijuan Walker, SP, Arizona Diamondbacks

FanDuel Price: $7,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

With just four games on tap for Thursday night, the main MLB slate doesn't have a ton of options. However, the Yankees-Red Sox matchup will feature two high-priced studs with Chris Sale and Masahiro Tanaka, and features the lowest over-under on the day (7.0). So, they should get a lot of attention.

Currently featuring the largest over-under on the slate with 10.5 runs is the Arizona Diamondbacks and San Diego Padres, which is a game that will take place at hitter-friendly Chase Field. That's normally a situation where offense is targeted, not pitching.

Why You Should Use Him:

While this game is anticipated to feature a lot of run scoring, the Padres have been one of the league's worst offenses in 2017. In terms of wOBA, they rank 27th (.285) and their team strikeout rate of 24.8% is the third highest.

With that in mind, Taijuan Walker is off to a strong start and makes for a great option. His 3.70 SIERA is a bit lower than his 4.57 ERA, and he's been strong in the strikeout department -- he's currently retiring hitters on strikes at a 22.7% rate, which is a couple ticks up from his 20.8% mark from last year.

Walker's 10.7% swinging-strike rate is currently the best of his career, and if he can get ahead of hitters more frequently than he has been (53.6% first-strike rate), he could be in line for a big evening.
