Why He Will Go Overlooked:
There's a lot of great options at the shortstop, but it will be hard to handicap the amount of ownership Trea Turner is going to see on Thursday. It'll surely be through the roof since he's fresh off a 67.3-FanDuel-point effort and is still playing at Coors Field.
The Arizona Diamondbacks take on Trevor Cahill, who's been pretty effective to start the year -- in 18 1/3 innings pitched, Cahill's posted a 3.05 SIERA and a 28.4% strikeout rate in what could pose some problems for the Diamondbacks.
Why You Should Use Him:
Despite those challenges, Chris Owings does have some positives working for him. Cahill has been great, but a deeper dive reveals that most of his success has been at Petco, along with struggles on the road.
Right-handed bats have posted a .340 wOBA against Cahill on the road so far this season, along with a 40.0% hard-hit rate.
Given those struggles and Arizona's healthy implied team total of 5.27 runs, Owings and his friends should be not be ignored despite Cahill's early brilliance.
