Jonathan Villar, 2B, Milwaukee Brewers

FanDuel Price: $2,900

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

While he may have started off the first week a bit slow, Jose Altuve has really picked things up recently -- he's produced double-digit FanDuel points in six of his last eight games. Despite being the most expensive second baseman on Friday, he'll almost certainly have a high ownership number.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Villar has really struggled at the dish to start the 2017 season -- he's hitting only .159 with a .236 wOBA on the year, and prior to Thursday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals, was stuck in a 1-for-19 slump.

Why You Should Use Him:

The fall from grace seems to happening precipitously for former Cardinals ace Adam Wainwright, who faces the Milwaukee Brewers tonight. His 2016 was arguably the worst season of his career -- in 198 innings pitched, he posted a 4.31 SIERA and struck out only 18.8% of batters.

If it was even possible, 2017 might be starting even worse -- through three starts and 13.2 innings pitched, Wainwright has allowed a 38.0% hard-hit rate on his way to a 7.24 ERA, and lefties have tortured him.

Over 36 batters faced, he's allowed a .522 wOBA to left-handed bats, including a .727 slugging percentage.

All Milwaukee lefties are in a great spot here, but at a depressed price point, in a park that elevates lefty power drastically, Villar should garner some consideration.
