Miguel Cabrera, 1B, Detroit Tigers

It's hard to make contact much better than Miguel Cabrera has to open the 2017 season.

Through 62 plate appearances he has a 46.2% hard-hit, 5.1% soft-hit, and 38.5% fly-ball rate, while he ranks 2nd in the Majors in average exit velocity and 10th in average batted ball distance.

He's also always a huge threat to crush left-handed pitching, owning a career .413 wOBA against southpaws.

Bringing his torrid start to this season into a matchup with lefty Hector Santiago, who posted an ugly 5.07 SIERA in 2016 and a 4.50 the year before that, Cabrera has some massive upside.
