Evan Longoria, 3B, Tampa Bay Rays

FanDuel Price: $3,300

Luis Severino has yet to put it all together in his young career, but he's shown plenty of promise dispatching right-handed bats.

Last year, Severino had a league average 21.1% strikeout rate versus righties, but his career rate sits at a strong 24.4%. He showed some of that strikeout prowess in his opening start this season, punching out six Baltimore Orioles, with five coming from the right side.

Enter Evan Longoria, who actually had the highest isolated power (ISO) of his career against right-handed pitchers last season (.262). However, it was preceded by two down seasons from 2014-15 in which his ISO was just .143 and .145, respectively. His true power probably lies somewhere in the middle.

What's concerning, though, is his walk rate and strikeout rate have been trending in the wrong direction. Last season, he had the lowest walk rate of his career (6.1%) and his highest strikeout rate (21%) since 2013. Those aren't bad numbers on their own, but they don't bode well against Severino's high strikeouts.

You could take a shot at Longoria's power in a Rays stack, but otherwise there are better matchups to exploit today.
