Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Adrian Gonzalez is coming off arguably his worst season of his Major League career, sporting a career-low .150 ISO.
The Dodgers' first baseman, who recorded 99 runs batted in or more eight consecutive season, drove in only 90 runs, his lowest total since his rookie campaign in 2006.
With several big names in nice spots, the 12th-most expensive first baseman should see low ownership.
Why You Should Use Him:
Even in a matchup that sports a low total of only 6.5 runs, largely influenced by Clayton Kershaw, the Dodgers will take aim against San Diego Padres starter Jhoulys Chacin. Chacin was brutal against lefties last season, allowing a .327 wOBA and a 13.8% home run to fly ball rate.
Despite Gonzalez's struggles last season, he was fantastic against right-handed pitching, notching an .859 OPS and 130 wRC+. He'll be a great target on Monday's slate.
