Eric Thames, $2,200

If you want someone similar to Joseph who will hit higher in the lineup, you're looking for Eric Thames. He has mostly hit second through fourth for the Milwaukee Brewers this spring, and at his price, that'll make your eyes pop out of your skull.

Thames has spent the past three years in the Korean Baseball Organization, where he posted some monster stats. He hit 47 bombs in 2015 while swiping 40 bags, and he followed that up with 40 and 13, respectively, last year. The level of competition is clearly quite different, but the Brewers' willingness to give him a three-year deal and bat him at a high-leverage spot in the order is encouraging, to say the least.

Through 55 plate appearances this spring, Thames has a 30.9% strikeout rate, which is superbly concerning. Over the long term, that could cost him his spot in the order. But we're not as worried about the future in daily as we are in season-long, meaning we can just accept that this dude is a value for the time being.

By playing with the Brewers, Thames has access to one of the better hitter's parks in the league, especially early in the season when the weather may be cold elsewhere. You'll want to check back on the spot in the order and who the opposing starter is, but Thames looks like a source of salary relief at the moment.
