It's a small sample-size, with only 84 plate appearances in his rookie season, but Tim Anderson has been seriously impressive against left-handed pitching, posting a .341 batting average with a .358 wOBA on a 39.0% hard-hit rate.

Anderson also draws good matchup tonight, taking on southpaw Drew Smyly, who has a 4.18 SIERA on the season and has been especially bad against right-handed hitting, allowing a .326 wOBA with a 4.76 xFIP.
