Stephen Vogt isn't a monster from the dish, but he's done decent work against right-handed pitching over his career, slashing .265/.326/.431 with a .326 wOBA and .166 ISO.

He gets a boost in fantasy value tonight from the Oakland Athletics, who are sporting solid 4.29 implied total and having a good matchup against Jered Weaver.

Weaver has seen his SIERA climb in each season since 2010 and has reached a brutal 5.47 this season, which he pairs with an ugly 13.3% strikeout rate. He has allowed a .374 wOBA with a 5.74 xFIP against left-handed hitters on the year, and the matchup is more than good enough to make Vogt an appealing play despite his middling production from the dish.
