Paul Goldschmidt, 1B, Arizona Diamondbacks

FanDuel Price: $3,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Any time an ace takes the hill, the big hitters on the other side go underowned. Paul Goldschmidt squares off against David Price of the Boston Red Sox, and the Arizona Diamondbacks sport an implied team total of only 3.71 runs. The Toronto Blue Jays, with Edwin Encarnacion at first base on FanDuel, own an implied team total of nearly a run higher, and the Red Sox' David Ortiz in this same game sees a team total nearly two runs higher at 5.79.

Why You Should Use Him:

Goldschmidt is an elite play in either cash or tournament formats due to his splits against left-handed pitching. In 2016, he is putting up an OPS of 1.107 and an ISO of .259 against lefties.

Price has also seen a spike in his home run rate so far in 2016. His 1.04 is the first time his home runs allowed per nine innings has topped 0.91 since 2010. Plus, righties are homering at an even higher rate (1.07), and that number jumps to 1.16 at home for Price.

Combine Goldschmidt's excellence, Price's spike in home run rate, and the likelihood of low ownership, and there are plenty of reasons to like him tonight.
