League of Legends Daily Fantasy Helper: LPL/LCK, 6/27/20

FanDuel is offering League of Legends daily fantasy, and look, if you don't know what that is, it's okay.

I have you covered with a detailed but straightforward primer to get you all set up, whether you're a DFS player looking to dig into the new sport or a League of Legends fan ready to take your action over to FanDuel.

The LCK Summer Split is officially here, and we have League of Legends DFS action! Let's break down the LPL/LCK slate for Saturday, June 27th, and see who stands out. (Just a heads up, the slate locks at 4:00 a.m. EST.)

Here are the starting lineups for the LPL. Generally, the LCK doesn't release starting lineups prior to the games.

Suning 3-3 7-7 6.6 2.43
Dominus Esports 0-5 0-10 2.5 1.40
FunPlus Phoenix 2-2 6-5 6.0 2.45
eStar 2-3 7-6 7.1 3.00

The LPL slate features the worst team in the league -- Dominus Esports -- which could make Suning very popular on this slate. The other match looks likely to go a full three games.

Both GenG and DAMWON Gaming are the favorites in their respective matchups, giving us very clear options to stack on this four-game slate.

Star - 1.5x Points

Lwx, FunPlus Phoenix ($9,800) is the third-most-expensive option on the entire slate, but is worth spending the salary on to get him in your lineups. He has posted 55 FanDuel points or more in each of his four series in the Summer Split, but more importantly, he has posted 87 and 91 FanDuel points in their two wins.

The higher end of production is what we will see if FunPlus win this series -- they are the favorite -- and that will make Lwx even more valuable in the Star spot. It also helps that FunPlus Phoenix have played 11 out of a possible 12 maps so far in the Summer Split. They are going to longer series, giving Lwx more time to pile up the fantasy points.

Top

Xiaobai, eStar ($7,900) comes in with 72 FanDuel points or more in three of his five series this split -- two of which have been in wins. Posting over 70 FanDuel points at a position like top is awesome, but it's even better if he is able to do that in a loss. Xiaobai is showing that thus far in the Summer Split and should be able to reach that level again in this matchup versus FunPlus Phoenix.

eStar is another team who are playing a ton of maps -- 13 out of a possible 15 -- which lines up with FunPlus. Neither team seems able to pull away in a series, giving us plenty of fantasy points to try and grab.

Jungle

Clid, GenG ($8,300) has posted three-straight strong games to start the LCK Summer Split and a great option in the jungle on this slate. He comes in with 58, 58, and 45 FanDuel points over his first three series-- with 15 assists or more in each series. Clid is carrying 66.7% Kill Participation (KP) Rate so far in the Summer Split, giving him upside as he is very involved around the map when GenG picks up kills.

Mid

Angel, Suning ($9,100) is up against Dominus Esports -- the absolute worst team in the LPL, who have yet to win a single map. There is no doubt that Angel and Suning are the favorites in this matchup, so look to stack them on this slate. He comes in with 71, 91, and 94 FanDuel points in their three wins this split while scoring 49 FanDuel points or less in each of their three losses.

Given how bad Dominus Esports are, you should be expecting a higher-scoring series from Angel -- along with him being one of the more popular players on the slate.

ADC

Ruler, GenG ($9,900) is a player to consider rostering anytime he is on the slate. It can really be that simple since he brings a safe floor of points along with a strong ceiling we see him flex during wins. He comes in with double-digit assists in all three series so far, double-digit kills in two of the three series, and 74 FanDuel points or more in two of his three series.

With GenG being a large favorite against APK Prince, bank on another 70+ FanDuel points from Ruler on this slate.

Support

Crisp, FunPlus Phoenix ($7,700) has posted a very strong 49 FanDuel points or more in three-straight series, along with a whopping 19 assists or more in all four of his series so far. Generally, FunPlus Phoenix plays somewhat 'fast and loose', averaging 14.5 kills as a team per game and 14.2 deaths as a team per game. Plenty of chances for Crisp to get involved and add another series with 19+ assists.

Team

eStar ($7,400) are averaging the third-most towers (7.1) along with the most average dragons (3.00) per game in the LPL Summer Split. As noted above with Xiaobai, eStar is up against FunPlus -- two teams who are playing a ton of maps. This means there is ample time for them to rack up FanDuel points, even in a loss. A great salary on this slate helps ease roster construction overall.
