3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 1/17/19

Indiana Pacers guard Cory Joseph isn't one to generate a ton of confidence in DFS. The eight-year veteran is doing this year what he usually does, putting up a few buckets and a smattering of peripheral stats each game.

It's resulted in an average of 20.0 DraftKings points per game this season. While that's certainly solid output for a guy whose salary is $3,700, he's just as likely to put up 15.0 as he is 25.0, which makes him tough to rely upon. Case in point, he's scored 15.0 or fewer DraftKings points in three of his past six games.

The Philadelphia 76ers, however, tend to bring out the best in Joseph. He's scored at least 24.0 DraftKings points in each of his two meetings versus Philly this season, and he's got at least 20.0 each of the past four times they've been his foes.

Heck, we can go back further. He's scored at least 20.0 DraftKings points 12 of the past 15 times he's faced the Sixers and scored no fewer than 15.0 DraftKings points once in that span. We have him projected to top 20.0 DraftKings points again tonight, pegging him for 21.2.
