3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 1/17/19

December and January have not exactly been the most fruitful for Chicago Bulls forward Jabari Parker. The former Duke standout has been a DNP-CD for a majority of his team's games in that timeframe, making the bench his closest friend.

Coach Jim Boylen looks to have had a change of heart over the past two games, however, as Parker has seen 17 and 19 minutes of run, respectively. Parker has taken advantage of that time, too.

Whether it's because he's trying to prove himself after being disregarded for so long or some other reason, he's been effective, scoring in double figures in both games and posting an average of 26.5 DraftKings points. There's no reason to know whether Parker will see the court for a third game in a row when the team takes on the Denver Nuggets tonight, but given his recent outings and low salary of $3,600, he's definitely worth using in tournaments.

The Nuggets are big favorites in this game. If the Nuggets do get up big, it's possible Parker sees extended run in a potentially meaningless fourth quarter. We have Parker projected for 25.9 DraftKings points tonight. Just keep in mind that there's a very real possibility that he gets another DNP-CD, so tread carefully and use him in tournaments only.
