Dale Stephens, Midfielder, Brighton

Salary: $8,500

Stephens is tied with four other midfielders as the fifth-highest priced player at his position, and he has averaged 10.88 FanDuel points this season. Stephens has not scored over 15 FanDuel points on his home pitch since December 26 against Arsenal -- his only time crossing that that mark at Falmer Stadium this season -- while averaging 9.34 FanDuel points in his 11 home matches.

Brighton, who are just three points shy of the drop zone, are the slight favorite over the Magpies, and the match has a 63.2% chance of going under 2.5 goals.

Not prevalent in the Seagulls’ attack, producing one goal on 10 shots and one assist on 18 chances created this season, Stephens’ fantasy impact generally comes from defensive actions. Newcastle have allowed the fourth-fewest tackles (16.46) and second-fewest interceptions (9.34) in all matches on this slate while allowing the third-fewest tackles (14.94) in road matches on this slate, and Stephens’ numbers in those two categories have both dropped on his home pitch this season.

If looking to spend up at the midfield position, the top-four priced midfielders all seem to be in good spots while Nathan Redmond ($8,000) has produced over 20 FanDuel points in two of his previous three appearances.
