Stat Leaders in the Wrong Categories

There are not a lot of statistical category leaders on the slate. Aguero and Harry Kane are among the top goal scorers in the league, but most of the top 10 is missing. Sterling, Ryan Fraser, and Leroy Sane all have nine assists on the season and have maintained high ownership on many slates. Ederson is the only keeper on the slate with double digit clean sheets.

However, when one looks at the yellow card stat leaders a lot of names will show up. Jose Holebas and Jefferson Lerma are tied for the lead with 10 yellow cards this season. Etienne Capoue and Fabian Schar are next. Schar has been one of the most reliable defenders on FanDuel this season, but his yellow cards have hindered his performance at times. Matt Richie and Robert Snodgrass each have eight yellow cards, which also blemishes their output.

As one may imagine, some of those same players show up in the top 10 for fouls committed. Half of the top 10 will be a part of this slate with all of them committing at least 40 fouls this season. Adding these players to your roster comes with risk and may be enough to sway one from hitting the plus button on FanDuel.
