Leicester have mounting injury concerns, so Barnes is getting a shot to play wide left in a five-person midfield. He was recalled from loan last month after scoring nine goals and tallying six assists in 26 appearances with West Brom.

Barnes has scored over 12 points in the last two matches as he adjusts to be a part of the starting XI. While he has not been on the score sheet often in his few appearances, he is showing plenty of promise. Barnes averages a shot every 24.7 minutes for Leicester. He is second in the league with five shots from inside the penalty area over the last two matches. Those performances came against two of the best teams in the league, Tottenham and Manchester United.

Manager Claude Puel has managed young talent well during his time at Leicester. It is Barnes' time to shine in an attacking role. A matchup with Crystal Palace should be a good game for him to show his worth as they have allowed 22 of their 34 goals on the road.
