4 FanDuel Premier League Players to Avoid in Matchweek 22

Alisson, Goalie, Liverpool

Salary: $6,000

Alisson is the second-highest priced keeper on the slate, and he has averaged 17.05 FanDuel points this season -- the second-highest average among keepers priced at or above $5,000. Alisson leads the league with 12 clean sheets including picking up five away from Anfield.

Avoiding Alisson is risky, as the Reds are currently at the top of the table and are tied with Manchester City for fewest goals conceded in road matches, but the keepers priced around Alisson -- along with his matchup -- make him avoidable. Brighton have scored in all 10 matches this season on their home pitch, including matches against Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham but have forced the second-fewest saves (40) from opposing keepers.

With FanDuel's scoring system, DFS players need to attack keepers who will hopefully produce a clean-sheet win or find a keeper who should see a large amount of save opportunities. While Alisson is absolutely capable of keeping a clean sheet, the risk of Brighton finding the back of the net -- 52.4% chance, according to oddsmakers -- outweighs the clean sheet opportunity, considering the keepers priced around him.

Kasper Schmeichel ($5,500) faces a Southampton squad that ranks fourths (77) in saves forced while his squad is the favorite over the Saints, and Martin Dubravka ($5,500) should see a large number of save opportunities against Chelsea.
