Pascal Gross, Midfielder, Brighton

Salary: $7,000

We're going to break a longstanding rule of this article and consider a Brighton player on the road. Brighton's road struggles have been well documented, but as it stands, Bournemouth's dreadful form may leave them unable to take advantage of those struggles. The Cherries have one win and six losses in their last seven Premier League fixtures. Four of those losses were to elite sides (kindly counting Manchester United), but two of them were defeats to Newcastle and Wolves -- matches in which Bournemouth conceded two goals to each side.

As of late, Brighton have been improved, with two wins and two losses in their last four matches, including a road victory over Huddersfield. After making only two appearances combined in September, October, and November, Gross has started five consecutive games, creating nine chances over that stretch.

While Gross' FanDuel production has been limited to this point, Brighton's use of a 4-4-1-1 formation in their recent loss to Chelsea provides optimism for Gross' outlook. Last season, all seven of Gross' goals came from the central attacking-mid position in that formation. This season, Brighton has utilized a 4-3-3 more regularly, which hasn't lead to success for Gross. If Brighton opts for a 4-4-1-1 this weekend against Bournemouth, Gross is worth considering as someone who should be an extremely low-owned option.
