Individual Form Matters Regardless of Playing Time

Xherdan Shaqiri kept his form intact despite moving to the bench for the first time in six matches, scoring two goals last weekend against Manchester United. Both came off deflections, showing that it is possible that luck follows form. Four of his five goals have come at home, and Liverpool's game against Newcastle is at Anfield. Teammate Roberto Firmino found some of his attacking ways last week, as well, despite not scoring. He fired seven shots in the penalty area, which is encouraging.

On the other hand, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was held goalless for the third league match in a row. Arsenal were beaten and frustrations mounted for DFS owners.
