Long will be taking the place of James Tarkowski, arguably Burnley's best defender. He finished with 10 clearances and two blocks versus Cardiff last weekend in 63 minutes of action. He totaled 19.5 FanDuel points in his first action of the Premier League season.

In his 16 appearances last season he averaged 12 defensive actions per 90 minutes. Burnley do allow over 20 shots per match as they prefer to rely on their defense so Long will continue to be busy. His play has earned him a regular spot on the Ireland team sheet despite not playing regularly for his club team.
