Defender -- Harry Maguire, Leicester City

FanDuel Price: $7,000

FanDuel's new scoring system gives top-shelf attacking full-backs gobs of upside. So, if Benjamin Mendy ($7,000) starts for City, he'll be awfully appealing with his side a huge home favorite, but his fitness is in question as he's dealing with a foot injury. You could also go with Tottenham's Kieran Trippier ($6,500) if you need exposure to Spurs.

But those two don't offer the floor Maguire does. He isn't a full-back, but Maguire does get forward a decent amount and has been a steady DFS performer this season. After a 3.9-FanDuel-point dud in Matchweek 1, the Leicester center-half has posted scores of 15.4, 39.9, 18.2, 29.5 and 18.0 FanDuel points. That's pretty darn good.

The 39.9-point day was boosted by a goal, which isn't something we can count on happening with much frequency. Other than that, though, all of Maguire's DFS goodness has been repeatable stuff -- clearances, tackles, passing, interceptions and the like.

The Foxes are in a pick'em match at Newcastle, and both squads own a 1.25-goal implied total. Oddsmakers don't give Leicester good odds at a clean sheet, but Newcastle have been some kind of horrible going forward this year, scoring four goals in six matches while averaging a league-low 7.7 shots per game. In short, a clean-sheet bonus isn't out of the question for Maguire, and he should provide his usual all-around defensive contributions.

If you're paying up at defender and want a floor you can feel good about, here's your dude.
