Dynasty League Trade

Dynasty keeper league. I have Brady and Peyton Manning. Not doing me a lot of good to have them both obviously, but bc Manning's injury I had to hold onto him.

Another team has approached me with a trade idea. One of my QBs and Roddy White for Calvin Johnson.

Seems like alot, but all I lose is QB depth and I upgrade WR for future and possibly present.

Anybody have any thoughts? Which QB would you want to keep for now and Future?

Nope, don't think that's good for you. Roddy is also a Top 5 wideout so you're not really improving. Brady would be my longterm guy though, don't know how much longer Manning will be around.

I agree. My main concern is Roddy is not young either, and his most productive weeks were when Julio was banged up. The last 3 weeks see him trending downward. And Roddy is not young either. I would also be getting Eli back to replace my depth now

I wouldn't make that move. Both QB's are getting up there, but, I, too, would choose Brady as the keeper. As you both pointed out, Roddy's getting old and only producing on Julio's off days. So, I think you need to take a sell high/buy low approach with Peyton and Megatron. As you are well aware, Peyton's putting up good numbers, but, don't think he's worth keeping for the long haul because of age and that neck has to make everyone a little nervous. Megatron is suffering the Madden Curse; he'll shake it off next year. So, get someone better/younger instead of White, you can really play off Manning's production and Roddy and Johnson's lack of production. You've potentially got a really good thing in the works here!
